WordPress Redirection Plugin - Home Page Redirect Problem / Bug

I came across a bug in WordPress 3.0 with the wonderful Redirection plugin. When you create a new post/page it will somehow add a redirect that makes the home page redirect to the new post/page. Enable WordPress Multisite with Subdomains (HostGator)

After a bit of tinkering I have gotten WordPress multisite to work on a HostGator server setup. I am running WordPress 3.0 RC3.
